FREE WINE – OH YEAH!
The best way to learn about wine is to taste it, and we give you many opportunities to do so. Every Saturday from 2 to 5, we hold our “Try Before You Buy” free tasting. This week, we’re featuring some great wines from Domaine Ferraton. Whether you’re grilling meat, fish or veggies on the 4th, we’ve got you covered! Here is the lineup:
1. Ferraton Cotes du Rhone Blanc – Grenache Blanc and Clairette team up in this deliciously fragrant and fresh white wine. Bright honeysuckle and tropical fruit notes make this a great pairing partner for fresh seafood.
2. Ferraton Cotes du Rhone Rosé – My pick for the best dry Rosé value on the market, this one is primarily Grenache. It exudes lovely notes of fresh cherry, strawberry, cranberry and gentle spice.
3. Ferraton Cotes du Rhone Rouge – I love the new vintage of this wine. Mainly Grenache, with a touch of Syrah, it smells and tastes of black cherry, lavender, thyme and pepper. Classic Southern Rhone red perfect for grilled burgers, dogs and the like.
4. Ferraton Cotes du Rhone “Plan de Dieu” – This is big, rich Cotes du Rhone that drinks like a $25 bottle. Primarily Grenache, it oozes with ripe blackberry, black cherry, herbs and anise. A great grilling wine.
As is always the case, we offer 10% off of 6 mixed bottles, 15% off of 12 and 20% off of 60. For the 60 bottle discount, you can team up with friends too!
